  • 4 oz Shredded cheddar
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper
  • 1 1/2 Sweet onion
  • 1 1/4 tsp Cayenne powder

How to Make Homemade Tater Tots

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make Homemade Tater Tots in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • For baked potatoes preheat oven too 450°F place potatoes in for 35 min along with half onion till potatoes are soft outside little firm in middle. Peal skin off potatoes and grate on large holes of box grater, chop onion fine pieces.
  • Step 2
  • Mix all ingredients together, roll each tot to size you wish. Set deep fryer to 375. Deep fry 10 tots at a time, aproximately 7 mins each batch, till golden brown. Place in bowl with paper towels toss with salt to taste.
