  • 1 box Yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz Sour cream
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • Middle
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • Glaze
  • 2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla

How to Make Honeybun Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Honeybun Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and sour cream until smooth. Spread half mixture into prepared pan.
  • Step 3
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over cake mix in pan until covered. Top with remaining cake mix. It will be difficult and smeary, that's ok, spread it as best you can. They said to run a knife around to swirl it. I did, but I don't think it was necessary.
  • Step 4
  • Bake for 40 minutes. Mix glaze ingredients. Pour over cake right after it comes out of oven. Let cool until the glaze gets that crackly look to it.
