  • 2 carrots
  • 3 celery
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 jalapeno
  • 1 pickling vinegar
  • 3 tbsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp dill or use 2 sprigs of fresh dill
  • 1 pinch black pepper corns
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper

How to Make Hot mixed veggies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Hot mixed veggies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice all veggies and place in jar
  • Step 2
  • Add all dry ingredients
  • Step 3
  • Add vinegar and seal jar/jars
  • Step 4
  • Boil jar/jars in a water bath for up to 30 minutes. Water temp should be 180° to kill off any bacteria. Place jar/jars on a towel and allow to cool. Lids will seal as they cool. Note... this is not a pressure cooking method.
  • Step 5
  • Eat and enjoy or put on shelf
