Prepare the ingredients before making Hummus in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve Hummus for your family or friends.

Ingredients: Hummus

  • 2 can (800g) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and washed
  • 3 tbsp Tahini
  • 1/3 cup Lemon juice
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/3 cup Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 Sprinkle of smoked paprika to serve
  • 1 Drizzle of olive oil to serve

How to Make Hummus

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Hummus in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Throw all ingredients into a tall plastic container and 'stick it'! (Blend well with a stick blender).
  • Step 2
  • If it looks to dry add a little water and blend until right.
  • Step 3
  • Spoon into a nice serving dish, garnish with some parsley, whole chickpeas, drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of smoked paprika.
  • Step 4
  • Goes nicely with some grilled/crusty pita bread (or Turkish bread) broken into pieces. Simply dip and eat! Yum!
