  • 1 dash Salt and pepper
  • 1 Mayonnaise
  • 1 Butter or margarine
  • 1 Parsley, powdered cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Imitation Crab and Potato Balls in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces. Put them in a heat-proof vessel and cover loosely with plastic wrap.
  • Step 2
  • Finely mince the imitation crab. Roughly dice the cheese.
  • Step 3
  • Transfer the potatoes into a mixing bowl and mash them. Add in the ● ingredients and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Form the mixture into bite-sized balls. Lightly coat with butter and line up on a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Create a small dent on the top of each ball by pressing it with your finger, and add a dollop of mayonnaise to the indent.

  • Before baking, the balls should look like this.

  • Put in the toaster oven to cook until the outside is well browned. (About 7 minutes)
  • Step 7
  • When they are cool enough to handle, transfer the potato balls onto a plate. (If you move them too quickly, while they are still very hot, they will loose their shape). Garnish with powdered cheese or parsley.
