Ingredients: Inari Sushi

  • 450 grams White rice
  • 8 sheets ★Aburaage
  • 200 ml ★Water
  • 4 tbsp ★Soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp ★Sugar
  • 4 tbsp ★Mirin
  • Sushi vinegar
  • 3 tbsp ◎Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp ◎Sugar
  • 1 tsp ◎Salt

How to Make Inari Sushi

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Inari Sushi in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pour boiling water over the aburaage to cut excess oil. Slice into half, and open up to make little pockets.
  • Step 2
  • Add the ★ ingredients and the aburaage from Step 1 into a pot, and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix the ◎ ingredients in a bowl to make sushi vinegar.
  • Step 3
  • Add ◎ mixture to freshly cooked rice, and mix with a cutting motion. Divide the rice into 16 portions.
  • Step 4
  • Squeeze out the excess water from the aburaage pockets, and stuff with sushi rice, and they're done.
