Ingredients: Indian noodles

  • 100 gm vermicelli or spaghetti
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • pinch turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander seed powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon mix spices (ground blackpeppers, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • handful green peas
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced finely
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • to taste salt
  • 1 tablespoon coriander/cilantro
  • 1/2 tomato chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum (green bell pepper) chopped

How to Make Indian noodles

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Indian noodles in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat a tablespoon oil in a pan. Add chopped onion and garlic and saute for a minute.
  • Step 2
  • Add chopped capsicum, green peas and tomatoes and saute for one more minute.
  • Step 3
  • Add red chili powder, turmeric and coriander seed powder, mixed spices, salt to taste and mix well.
  • Step 4
  • Add 100 gm or a cup of vermicelli and two cup of water. Cover the pan and let it cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • It's done. Add cilantro and mix well and serve it hot.
