  • 2 small Onions
  • 2 Inch Ginger
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 5 Green Cardamoms Whole
  • 6 Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp Dry Methi Leaves (Fenugreek)
  • 1 Blitz these ingredients into a paste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 4 Cloves
  • 6 Peppercorn
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 Oil as needed
  • 200 grams chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 7 each Curry Leaves

How to Make Indian Style Chicken Stir Fry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Indian Style Chicken Stir Fry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil in a vessel and add the washed chicken.
  • Step 2
  • After the chicken turns pink add cloves, peppercorn, bay leaves and curry leaves and stir for a minute.
  • Step 3
  • After the chicken starts getting a bit brown add the grinded masala. And stir continuously till oil starts to separate.
  • Step 4
  • On a low heat let the chicken cook in the masala for 4-5 minutes. Then add the yogurt and stir.
  • Step 5
  • Add salt, turmeric and sugar, stir finally and check if the chicken is cooked. Put a lid on and close the flame.
  • Step 6
  • Have this with rice or roti. This is a gravy which even if little in quantity goes a long way.
  • Step 7
  • Can be substituted with any kind of meat or veggies.
