  • 1 lb cooked cubed chicken
  • 1/2 medium onion

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp coriander
  • 2/3 tsp curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packages medium egg noodles
  • 5 eggs for frying.
  • condiments
  • 1 sambal oelek
  • 1 ketjab manis

How to Make Indonesian/Dutch Bahmi

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Indonesian/Dutch Bahmi in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Add broth, chicken, vegetables, onions and apices in a saucepan. Add salt and allow to simmer for 15 mins. Add olive oil and cornstarch.
  • Step 2
  • Cook noodles until tender.
  • Step 3
  • Add chicken mixture and stir.
  • Step 4
  • Serve with a fried egg on top, with runny yolk.
  • Step 5
  • Serve with sambal and/or ketjab
