Ingredients: Italian meatballs

  • 2 lb 80/20 Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Ground Italian Sausage
  • 1 bunch Fresh Italian Parsley
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 2 cup Bread crumbs
  • 4 Eggs
  • 5 clove Garlic (large cloves) about 1/2 bulb peeled
  • 2 pinch Red pepper flakes
  • 2 pinch Salt
  • 2 pinch Black pepper

How to Make Italian meatballs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 13 steps you must follow to make Italian meatballs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oven to 350°F
  • Step 2
  • Put peeled garlic, parsley, eggs into food processor and blend until parsley and garlic are finely chopped
  • Step 3
  • Put meat into large bowl or mixer
  • Step 4
  • Add bread crumbs, blended eggs, parsley, garlic.
  • Step 5
  • Add cheese
  • Step 6
  • Add red pepper, salt, black pepper.
  • Step 7
  • Mix all ingredients until a meatloaf texture forms. Add more breadcrumb if needed for binding.
  • Step 8
  • Take meat mixture and roll in hands until a compact ball is formed about size of a golfball or slightly larger
  • Step 9
  • Place aluminum foil on baking sheet, spray with non stick pam
  • Step 10
  • Place meatballs on sheet about an inch apart
  • Step 11
  • Cook meatballs about 12 min on bottom rack, remove and flip to brown all sides, put back in oven 10 more min.
  • Step 12
  • Optional - Drop into your homemade sauce on stove, cover with lid, and set to low for 3 to 4 hours stirring every 20 min.
  • Step 13
  • Serve!
