  • 16 oz italian sausage
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 bell peppers chopped
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small bunch of dried basil crushed
  • 2 tbsp pepper sauce I used chipoltle
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 oz italian blend grated cheese
  • 1 packages tortilla chips whatever kind or color you like
  • 1 can sliced black olives about 2 oz
  • 1 cup fresh diced tomatoes

How to Make italian nachos

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make italian nachos in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • in a hot frying pan add sausage butter onion garlic peppers basil sauce salt and pepper
  • Step 2
  • fry on medium heat until sausage is cooked stirring some to prevent sticking
  • Step 3
  • in a lasagna pan toss all the chips then top with the meat mixture fairly evenly and spread out the cheese and olives too
  • Step 4
  • bake in a 375°F oven for about 5 minutes just to heat the chips and melt the cheese then remove from the oven garnish with the tomatoes and get out of the way before the rabid teenager attacks the pan
