  • 2 oz hoagie rolls ( sliced in half length wise )
  • 9 oz Sweet italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onions
  • 1 tsp Minced garlic
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 small Red pepper ( sliced thinly )
  • 2 cup Shredded mozzarella

How to Make Italian Sausage Hoagies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Italian Sausage Hoagies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat broiler to high.
  • Step 2
  • Hollow out top halfs of rolls. Place roll cut side up & broil until toasted
  • Step 3
  • Heat a large skillet over Med high heat. Add sausage to pan; cook 2 minutes or until browned. Add onion & garlic; cook 1 minute. Season w/ pepper & add sauce. peppers. Reduce & simmed 6 minutes until peppers are crisp tender.
  • Step 4
  • Arrange sausage mix on bottom half of each bun. Sprinkle w/ cheese & broil until cheese melts & is lightly browned. Top w/ top of roll.
