  • 2 kg ripe tomatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 cup sliced basil
  • 2 cup sliced parsley
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 salt
  • 1 pepper

How to Make Italian Sugo

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Italian Sugo in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Blend onion, basil and parsley together
  • Step 2
  • In a pan, put olive oil, and add the onion mix. Cook it for a few minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Blend tomatoes and carrots together.
  • Step 4
  • Add blended tomato paste into to the pan
  • Step 5
  • Let it cook for 30 minutes. The more you cook the sauce, the sweeter and less acid it will be.
  • Step 6
  • You can cook even longer if you want.
  • Step 7
  • Cook any kind of pasta and put de sauce on top.
