  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 lb Italian turkey sausage

How to Make Italian Turkey Meatloaf

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Italian Turkey Meatloaf in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray meatloaf pan or casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat and cook onions and bell peppers untill tender, about 5 to 6 min. Add galic and cook for another min. Remove to a bowl and let cool for about 10 min.
  • Step 3
  • Add bread crumbs, cheese, eggs, basil, oregano, thyme, and pepper to bowl. Mix well
  • Step 4
  • Add turkey and turckey sausage and mix gently but thoroughly with hands. Form into a round loaf and place into prepared cooking dish
  • Step 5
  • Bake 55 to 65 min. or intill internal temp. is 165°F. Let stand, covered, for 15min. before slicing.
