  • 175 grams plain flour
  • 90 grams butter
  • 6 tsp water
  • 125 g Strawberry Jam

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 200°C or gas mark 6
  • Step 2
  • Rub together the flour and butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
  • Step 3
  • Add the water to the bowl and make the mixture into a ball of pastry
  • Step 4
  • Lightly flour the ball of pastry, rolling pin and work surface and roll the dough out to about 4mm thick
  • Step 5
  • Using your cutter cut out 12 circle shapes.
  • Step 6
  • Lightly grease your tart tray to avoid the pastry sticking
  • Step 7
  • Place the circle shaped dough into your tart tray and add a small amount of strawberry jam to each half filling the case
  • Step 8
  • Bake in the oven for approximatley 15-18 minutes. leave to cool and then enjoy.
