  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 5 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb andouille sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup rice
  • 14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz clam juice
  • 2 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

How to Make Jambalaya

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Jambalaya in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Season chicken and cook in oil until seared.
  • Step 2
  • Pour out extra fat and cook andouille sausage. Set aside.
  • Step 3
  • Add garlic and onion to soften. Add rice and cook until translucent.
  • Step 4
  • Add in broth, tomatoes and clam juice.
  • Step 5
  • Cook 30-35 minutes and serve.
