  • 100 grams Sashimi grade maguro (lean tuna)
  • 1 tsp Usukuchi soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon~ Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 dash Lemon juice
  • 1/2 clove Garlic
  • 1 Salt, black pepper
  • 1 Garlic or buttered toast
  • 1 optional *Egg yolk

How to Make Japanese Flavored Tuna Tartare

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make Japanese Flavored Tuna Tartare in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Finely chop the tuna with a knife. Grate the garlic. Put everything in a bowl and mix well, and it's done. Please adjust the amount of garlic, lemon juice and soy sauce to taste.
  • Step 2
  • Serve with garlic toast, plain toast or crackers. (I've used very little soy sauce and olive oil, so please add more to taste.)
