  • 200 grams sliced beef
  • 1 large onion
  • bunch black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sake or white wine
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cooked white rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Japanese rice bowl in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix the ingredients of sauce. Sliced the onion.
  • Step 2
  • Pan fry the onion with litte bit of oil.
  • Step 3
  • After the onion turned to gold brown colour, add the sauce and cook until the onion become soft.
  • Step 4
  • Add the sliced beef and cook it completely. Add the egg in the middle of the pan, cover the pan to cook another two minutes in low heat.
  • Step 5
  • Add the black pepper.
  • Step 6
  • Put them at the top of the cooked rice. Done :D
