  • 2 Beef steak
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 5 cm Carrot
  • 1 half each Paprika (red and yellow)
  • 10 cm Celery
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 50 ml ☆Oil
  • 25 ml ☆Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ☆Salt
  • 1 ☆Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sake (or white wine)
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce

How to Make Japanese-Style Steak – Great with Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make Japanese-Style Steak – Great with Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the vegetables into 8 mm sticks and place in a bowl.
  • Step 2
  • Add the ingredients marked ☆ to another bowl and stir. This is French dressing.

  • Pour the dressing into the Step 1 bowl.

  • Toss lightly to combine evenly.
  • Step 5
  • Cut the steaks diagonally into bite size pieces and season with salt and pepper. Grate the garlic and rub into the meat.

  • Using the same pan without washing, stir fry the vegetables. First cook over medium heat then turn down to low heat. Stir fry for 5 minutes until softened. Then drizzle soy sauce.
  • Step 10
  • Garnish vegetables on the meat and it's done. It is nice to serve with rice.
