  • 1/2 block Tofu (silken)
  • 1 Avocado
  • 6 to 7 leaves Lettuce
  • 3 Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Bonito flakes
  • 1 Shredded dried seaweed
  • Dressing
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Mentsuyu
  • 2 cm Wasabi, tubed
  • 1 Mayonnaise

How to Make Japanese-style Tofu and Avocado Salad

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Japanese-style Tofu and Avocado Salad in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Remove the skin from the avocado and cut into bite-sizes. Chop the tomato into bite-sized pieces as well. Shred the lettuce and tofu by hand. Combine the wasabi and mentsuyu and mix.
  • Step 2
  • Combine the lettuce, avocado, tofu and tomato in a dish (in that order), then drizzle the wasabi and mentsuyu dressing over. Add a little mayonnaise on top.
  • Step 3
  • Sprinkle bonito flakes and shredded dried seaweed and serve!
