  • 4 small Japanese turnips
  • 4 slice Bacon
  • 2 Consomme soup stock cubes
  • 800 ml Water
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 dash Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1 Japanese turnip greens

    Step 1
  • Peel the Japanese turnips, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Slice the green leaves into small rounds (your preferred amount). Chop the bacon into 2 cm strips.

  • Pour the water into a pot and turn on the heat. Add Japanese turnip, bacon, and consomme. Simmer until the turnips become soft.
  • Step 3
