  • 7 lb roast
  • 3 can Beer
  • 2 packages Onion soup mix
  • 1 tbsp roasted red pepper and garlic spice
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 8 large mushrooms, sliced

How to Make Jason's Pot roast

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Jason's Pot roast in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place roast in a roasting pan that has a tight fitting cover.
  • Step 2
  • Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Then pour over the roast. Liquid should be a minimum of 1/4 way up the roast.
  • Step 3
  • Place roast in a preheated oven at a temperature of 325°F. (Cooking time is 25 mins/pound) Cook for 3 hours and an internal temperature of 130°F.
  • Step 4
  • Transfer roast to a plater and cover loosely with tinfoil and let rest. For the gravy, Pour all the liquid, mushrooms and onions into a pot and bring to a rolling boil. Add cornstarch according to its directions to achieve desired thickness.
