  • 4 lb beef ribs
  • Sauce
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Heinz chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp crushed chili peppers
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic (minced)

How to Make Jason's Tangy Ribs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Jason's Tangy Ribs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place ribs in large pot and boil for 1 hour.
  • Step 2
  • Meanwhile combine all ingredients for the sauce in pot and cook on low for 1 hour, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
  • Step 3
  • Move ribs from pot to cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bone side down if not using beef short ribs.
  • Step 4
  • Brush sauce over ribs and bake at 300°F, turning and basting ribs every 15 minutes for 45 minutes
  • Step 5
  • Turn oven to 350°F, baste ribs one last time and bake for 15 minutes.
