  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 tsp ground oregano
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill
  • 1 tsp chicken base
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp melted bacon fat (or lard of your choice)
  • salt

How to Make Kandi's Greek-Style Potatoes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Kandi's Greek-Style Potatoes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Wash, peel and cut potatoes into wedges
  • Step 2
  • Squeeze the juice of 1 whole lemon into a large ziplock bag
  • Step 3
  • Add all the other Ingredients (except salt) to the ziplock bag with lemon juice and shake well, do this over a large container or bowl to prevent/catch any leaks, let sit for 1 hour or more, shaking bag periodically to remix and coat potatoes
  • Step 4
  • Preheat oven to 425F, prepare a square oven safe dish with non-stick spray, pour bag contents into dish, bake for 40 minutes
  • Step 5
  • Remove dish from oven, salt dish generously (or to taste) and mix well, return dish to oven for another 20-30 minutes or until desired crispness/doneness
