  • 4 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1 small head cabbage, shredded
  • 2 T. canola oil
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • 4 T. butter
  • 1 1/2 pounds prepared spätzle
  • 1/2 t. ground paprika
  • 1/4 C. fresh parsely, chopped
  • 5 oz. shredded swiss cheese, preferably Emmentaler

  • Fry the shallots in the canola oil in a large skillet until soft and translucent.
