  • 1 (18.25oz) package of lemon cake mix
  • 1 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (3oz) package of lime gelatin mix
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • Frosting
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 (8oz) package of cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 4 cup congectioners sugar

How to Make Key Lime Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Key Lime Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven at 350°. Combine cake mix, oil, eggs, gelatin, and orange juice in large bowl. Mix well until all lumps are out.
  • Step 2
  • Pour batter into 2 greased 9 in pans. Bake according to box instructions or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  • Step 3
  • To make frosting. In large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add lime juice and confectioners sugar. Mix well.
