  • 1 Kohlrabi
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 10 grams Butter
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 dash Salt and pepper

How to Make Kohlrabi Sauté

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Kohlrabi Sauté in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Peel the skin from the kohlrabi and cut into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the garlic.
  • Step 2
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the garlic on low heat until fragrant. Add the kohlrabi and continue cooking. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
  • Once the kohlrabi is tender, add the butter, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar. Lightly sauté until colored and then it's done.

  • In German, 'Kohl' mean 'Cabbage' and 'Rabi' means 'Turnip.' It has lots of potassium and 3-4 times more Vitamin C than turnips.
