  • 1 block Konnyaku
  • 120 grams Napa cabbage kimchi
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1/2 tbsp Usukuchi soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 Green onions

How to Make Konnyaku Kimchi

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Konnyaku Kimchi in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice the konnyaku as thinly as you can and boil in water with a pinch of salt. Drain.
  • Step 2
  • Put the mayonnaise in a frying pan and fry the konnyaku until they slightly brown.
  • Step 3
  • Add the kimchi to the pan and mix with the konnyaku. Add the sugar, sake, and soy sauce and simmer until the liquid cooks off.
  • Step 4
  • Drizzle in some sesame oil and immediately turn off the heat.
  • Step 5
  • Garnish with chopped green onions to finish!
