  • 2 medium potatos
  • 250 grams lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, shredded
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup breadcrums
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp turmeric

  • Boil potatoes
  • Step 2
  • Shred onion from the top so that it doesn't fall apart in you hands.
  • Step 3
  • Separate the onion from the onion juice. Discard all except for 2 tablespoons of onion juice.

  • Cool down potatoes in cold water.
  • Step 5
  • Peel potatoes.
  • Step 6
  • Mash potatoes in a large bowl.

  • Beat eggs in a separate bowl.

  • Add beaten eggs to mashed potatoes. Mix together.

  • Add ground beef to onion and remaining onion juice. Mix. Add cinnamon and mix well.

  • Add beef mixture to potato mixture. Mix together. Then add flour and other spices. Mix well.
  • Step 11
  • Meanwhile, heat some olive oil in a large pan.
  • Step 12
  • Roll mixture into balls.
  • Step 13
  • Roll the balls in breadcrumbs and then flatten with hand.
  • Step 14
  • Add to pan on medium/high heat.
  • Step 15
  • Flip and fry on other side.
  • Step 16
  • Serve.
