  • 3 chicken breasts cooked & shredded
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 1 cup a little over a cup gluten-free buscuit mix
  • 2/3 cup soy milk

How to Make Layered Chicken Bake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Layered Chicken Bake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Step 2
  • Grease baking dish, 8x8x2".
  • Step 3
  • Mix chicken, cheese, lemon juice, egg, salt, &pepper.
  • Step 4
  • In separate bowl, mix milk, mayonnaise, & egg yolk. Then add enough gluten-free buscuit mix to get to not quite buscuit dough consistency.
  • Step 5
  • Spread half the dough in baking dish. Pour the chicken mixture over that. Then spread rest of dough over chicken. Spray with cooking spray.
  • Step 6
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Let cool for 5 minutes.
