Ingredients: Layered Pumpkin Pie

  • 1 packages (8oz) cream cheese - softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 unbaked pie shell or make your own 9"
  • 1 can 16oz. solid pack pumpkin
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar -packed
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg( I used pumpkin pie spice)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter- softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

How to Make Layered Pumpkin Pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Layered Pumpkin Pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Have pie shell ready. Then in mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/4 c. Granulated sugar, vanilla mix well. Add. 1 egg; beat until smooth. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Chill 30 min. Oven should be at 350° .
  • Step 2
  • In mixing bowl, beat next 8 ing. Until smooth. Carefully pour over the cream cheese filling. Cover edges of pie with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 min. Remove foil; bake for 25 min longer.
  • Step 3
  • Meanwhile mix the flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly, stir in pecans. Sprinkle over top of pie. Bake 10-15 min.more or until knife comes out clean. Cool. Store in fridge.
