  • Filling
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 can (14oz) Eagle Brand sweet ended condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 baked pie crust
  • meringue
  • 6 egg whites
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract or cream of tartar
  • 1/2 cup sugar

How to Make Lemon pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Lemon pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven 325°F. Beat egg yolks, gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk & lemon juice.
  • Step 2
  • Pour into crust. Bake 30-35 minutes or until set.
  • Step 3
  • To make Meringue: Beat egg whites on high really good. Add vanilla & sugar. Continue to beat on high till a non-glossy look is achieved.
  • Step 4
  • After pie is cooked, add meringue to top and cook in oven till tips are brown.
