  • 1/2 cup Condensed milk
  • 100 grams Butter
  • 200 grams Granita biscuits
  • 1 cup Coconut
  • 1 Lemon, rind finely grated
  • 1 Lemon Icing
  • 2 cup Icing sugar
  • 40 grams Butter, softened
  • 1 Lemon, juiced

How to Make Lemon Slice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Lemon Slice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Grease and line 15.5 x 25cm slab tin.
  • Step 2
  • Place condensed milk and butter in small pan over medium heat. Cook, stirring for 4-5 minutes or until butter melts.
  • Step 3
  • Crush biscuits in food processor until they are fine crumbs.
  • Step 4
  • Place crumbs, coconut and 2 teaspoons lemon rind in a bowl. Add hot butter mixture. Stir until well combined.
  • Step 5
  • Press biscuit mixture into prepared tin. Refrigerate for 1.5 hurs or until firm.
  • Step 6
  • Lemon Icing.
  • Step 7
  • Place icing sugar, butter and 2.5 tablespoons lemon juice in a bowl. Beat with a wooden spoon until smooth. Spread icing over slice.
  • Step 8
  • Refrigerate for futher 30 minutes or until icing has set.
