  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • tart lemon glaze
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 8 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 cup Icing sugar

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350?F.
  • Step 2
  • Grease 8x8 baking dish
  • Step 3
  • Zest and juice two lemons and set aside
  • Step 4
  • Beat flower, sugar, salt and butter until combined

  • In separate bowl whisk together the eggs, lemon juice and lemon zest until combined
  • Step 6
  • Pour it into the flour mixture and best for 2 mins at medium speed until smooth and creamy

  • Pour into baking dish and bake for 23 to 25 mins. Should be golden brown on the edges
  • Step 8
  • Allow to cool completely before glazing. Do not over cook or the bars will be dry
  • Step 9
  • Filter the powdered sugar and whisk with lemon zest and juice
  • Step 10
  • Spread the glaze over the brownies with a rubber spatula and let them set
  • Step 11
  • Cut bars and serve
