Ingredients: Lighter Pepperoni Pizza

  • 1/2 cup Ragu pizza sauce
  • 1 cup 2% Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 17 each Hormel turkey pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 Boboli whole wheat pizza crust

How to Make Lighter Pepperoni Pizza

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Lighter Pepperoni Pizza in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 450
  • Step 2
  • Place pizza crust (uncooked) on a pizza stone or baking sheet
  • Step 3
  • Put pizza sauce on crust leaving about 1/2 inch border
  • Step 4
  • Sprinkle cheese on top of pizza sauce
  • Step 5
  • Take your 17 pepperonis and cut them into four pieces each (cross cut each pepperoni) and sprinkle them on top of cheese
  • Step 6
  • Sprinkle italian seasoning and (optional) red pepper flakes on top of pepperonis and cheese
  • Step 7
  • Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until desired crunchiness! I like mine a little crunchy so I bake for 15 minutes
  • Step 8
  • I also add pineapple to mine sometimes. I use pineapple chunks drained. About 1/2 cup and sliced smaller than chunks. You could use tidbits too.
