  • 15 lb Turkey, Thawed
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • Marinade
  • 1 cup olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Lawrys Seasoned Salt
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • Center Stuffings
  • 3 small lemon, sliced
  • 4 clove garlic cloves

How to Make Lip Smackin' Turkey

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 14 steps you must follow to make Lip Smackin' Turkey in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Buy a Turkey
  • Step 2
  • Remove the neck and gizzards from the Turkey and set aside for use for another dish.
  • Step 3
  • Clean the turkey with cold water.

  • Place the turkey in a roasting pan and carefully separate the skin from the turkey. You don't want to remove the skin from it, just loosen it up.

  • Take the melted butter and rub generously all over the meat of the turkey UNDER the skin. Take the remaining butter and rub in the cavity.

  • Mix the ingredients for the marinade well.
  • Step 7
  • Coat the entire turkeys skin with the marinade. Place in the fridge for at least a half hour to marinate.
  • Step 8
  • Remove Turkey from fridge and preheat oven to 325°F
  • Step 9
  • Stuff the turkey cavity with sliced lemons and garlic cloves
  • Step 10
  • Pour the 2.5 cups of water into the roasting pan and place in oven.
  • Step 11
  • You will bake this in the oven for approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. This depends on size. Even if the thermometer pops out make sure you check the internal temperature.
  • Step 12
  • Every 30 minutes baste the turkey well with the liquid in the pan.
  • Step 13
  • Once fully cooked remove from the oven.
  • Step 14
  • Serve and enjoy!
