  • 500 grams Chicken liver
  • 100 grams ground chicken
  • 500 grams crushed tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 100 grams mushroom
  • 1 piece chicken broth (cube)
  • 1 salt
  • 1 black pepper
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil

How to Make Liver stew

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Liver stew in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil in a large pot. Add onion, garlic and mushroom. Cook until translucent.
  • Step 2
  • Chop the liver finely. Add liver and ground chicken to pot.
  • Step 3
  • When the meat is fully cooked add crushed tomatoes, broth, sambal and spices. Let cook for up to an hour until stew has reduced and thickened.
  • Step 4
  • Serve over pasta, rice or zucchini noodles.
