  • 1 bag of red potatoes
  • 1 packages of shredded cheese( Colby-Jack)
  • 4 slice of bacon cooked and crumbled( or real bacon bits)
  • 1 large onion (diced)
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 pack of roasted potato seasoning.
  • 3 tbsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 3 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste if needed
  • 1 8oz package cream cheese.
  • 1 cup sour cream.

How to Make Loaded Cheesy Potatoes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Loaded Cheesy Potatoes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut potatoes into bite sized cubes. Leave skin on, rinse and set aside. Then chop your onion in small pieces. Dice if possible.
  • Step 2
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Meanwhile, cook bacon to desired preference. Once done and cooled, crumble bacon.
  • Step 3
  • Next, In a large bowl mix potatoes and all seasonings. Make sure to mix well. Next add cream cheese and sour cream. Then, add onions, salt &pepper and mix thoroughly in bowl.
  • Step 4
  • After coating potatoes well evenly pour in baking dish. Cut up stick of butter and place in baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • After 30 minutes, stir potatoes in pan bake for another 30 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • After additional 30 minutes are up, take out to coat with cheese and crumbled bacon on top. Also chives if you have some. Then bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Let stand 5 minutes, enjoy!
