  • 2 lbs flank steak cut into strips
  • 4 tomatoes cut in 1/2 in wedges
  • 1 onion cut into 1/2 in wedges
  • 1 red bell pepper julienne cut
  • 1 aji Amarillo or mild chili
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 8 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • sprig Cilantro
  • 4 russet potatoes
  • White rice

How to Make Loom Saltado

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Loom Saltado in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a wok heat 2 tbsp oil and fry beef in two batches. Salt and pepper to taste. Set aside
  • Step 2
  • Add 1 tbsp oil and fry onions for one minute. Add red peppers, chili and garlic. Cook for two minutes. Add tomatoes and cook for one minute.
  • Step 3
  • Add beef, soy sauce and vinegar. Toss about two minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
  • Cut potatoes and cook as French fries. Serve with rice.
