  • 1 can 15 oz. sliced pears packed in 100% juice
  • 1 tbsp No hydrogenated oils margarine. I like the yogurt based kind. brummels&brown is the brand I use
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp low fat plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp splenda or sugar replacement of your choice
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

How to Make low calorie sautéed pears

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make low calorie sautéed pears in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Drain pears and mix the pears with the lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside
  • Step 2
  • Melt margarine over medium heat in a skillet. Stir in vanilla and honey.
  • Step 3
  • Add pears and stir until coated. Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
  • Step 4
  • Cover and cook for 2-4 minutes
  • Step 5
  • Pour into two bowls and garnish with splenda, yogurt, and another sprinkle of cinnamon.
