  • 2 lb beef, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 3 carrots, cut into chunks
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced into 2" pieces
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 can 6 ounces - tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup Red wine
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

How to Make Lu's stew (crock pot)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Lu's stew (crock pot) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil in large saute pan. Meanwhile, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Toss meat in flour mixutre, then brown on all sides in oil.
  • Step 2
  • Spray crock pot with non stick cooking spray. Place potatoes, carrots, and celery in bottom of pot.
  • Step 3
  • When meat is browned on all sides, place it on top of the vegetables. Place the onion with the meat.
  • Step 4
  • Add remaining to saute pan and heat until bubbling. Pour into crockpot and cook on low 7-9 hours.
  • Step 5
  • Remove bay leaves and stir before serving.
