  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 lb apple pears, peeled cored and sliced
  • 3 tbsp golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 sheet, thawed puff pasrty
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

    Step 1
  • Preheat to 425°F.
  • Step 2
  • In small bowl soak raisins in brandy, set aside.
  • Step 3
  • Melt butter and sugar in skillet until bubbly, about 2 minutes.

  • Add sliced apple pears and cook another 4 minutes .
  • Step 5
  • Add in brandy soaked raisins, continue to cook until juices reduce to a glaze.

  • Stir in lemon juice, zest and cornstarch. Now add nuts.

  • Put filling on a cookie sheet in a single layer and chill for 1/2 hour.
  • Step 8
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll pastry into a 12" square. Cut into four equal portions.
  • Step 9
  • Put 1/4 of filling into center of square and moisten edges with water. Fold over into triangle and seal.
  • Step 10
  • Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut slits on top to vent. Brush top with cream.
  • Step 11
  • Bake 18-22 minutes until a deep golden brown.
  • Step 12
