  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 clove of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 oz
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 lb box of elbow macaroni

How to Make Mac & Beef

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Mac & Beef in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a 4 quart pot cook ground beef till brown, then drain and add back to the pot
  • Step 2
  • Add olive oil and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until soft and translucent
  • Step 3
  • Add garlic and oregano cook for 1 to 2 min
  • Step 4
  • Add the can of diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes
  • Step 5
  • Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and add to the sauce. Cook for 1 to 2 min. Then add fresh chopped basil and parsley
  • Step 6
  • Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy
