Ingredients: Mackerel,Mushrooms& Papad

  • fish fry
  • 3 pieces fresh mackerel
  • 300 grams white mushroom chopped
  • 8 leaves of spring onions chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes chopped
  • 8 pieces green pepper (cut into halves )
  • 4 pieces bay leaves
  • 8 curry leaves
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • marinating fish
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • salt
  • 3 garlic finely minced
  • 2 tbsp paprika (reduce the amount as preferred i personally love hot chilli food)
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese pepper
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder

How to Make Mackerel,Mushrooms& Papad

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Mackerel,Mushrooms& Papad in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix all the ingredients for marinating in a large bowl. Marinate the fish for 4-5 hours in refrigerator.
  • Step 2
  • Heat oil in pan and fry the fish each side for 8-10mins
  • Step 3
  • In another pan fry the vegetables for a couple of minutes , add the fish on top close the lid and let it fry for another 5minutes in a low flame (do not burn)
  • Step 4
  • Serve hot with masala papad and chick pea salad :)
