  • 1 dozen MANICOTTI SHELLS
  • 1 lb GROUND BEEF
  • 1 WHOLE ONION
  • 12 oz CREAM CHEESE
  • 1 cup MOZZARELLA CHEESE
  • 1 tbsp GARLIC POWDER
  • 1 tsp PAPRIKA
  • 1 tsp PARSLEY
  • 1 tsp CILANTRO
  • 1 tsp SALT
  • 1 tsp PEPPER
  • 24 oz TOMATO SAUCE (CANNED/HOMEMADE)
  • 4 qts water
  • 4 strips bacon

How to Make MAN-icotti

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make MAN-icotti in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring water for boiling shells to a hard boil. Add shells and boil for 8 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Drain and cool shells making sure the do not touch so they do not stick together.
  • Step 3
  • Brown ground beef and bacon with all spices/seasoning with diced onion.
  • Step 4
  • Add cream cheese and shredded cheese, cook on low until melted.
  • Step 5
  • Cover 1/4 in of pan with heated sauce mixture and pre-heat oven to 300°F.
  • Step 6
  • Stuff cooled shells with meat cheese mixture.
  • Step 7
  • Place stuffed shells on pan with sauce layer. Sprinkle mozzarella on top with parsley and cilantro and sauce. I love mine with more sauce than most.
  • Step 8
  • Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. This is a MAN-icotti.
