  • 8 large eggs boiled
  • 2 lb sausage meat casing removed
  • 2 cup flour
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 3 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • oil for deep frying

How to Make Mandys scotch eggs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Mandys scotch eggs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Boil eggs for 6 minutes drain and allow to cool totally. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Remove casing from Ur favourite sausages and press together season with salt and pepper .
  • Step 3
  • Set up a breading station ,flour,eggs then breadcrumbs.
  • Step 4
  • Remove shell from eggs and take a handful of sausage meat ,wrap around the egg sealing the egg totally this is important so it holds together when it fries.
  • Step 5
  • Place wrapped egg into flour then beaten eggs then breadcrumbs repeat if needed . Place in fridge for an hour to firm up.
  • Step 6
  • Heat oil to 160℃/320℉ place two scotch eggs at a time and cook for 10 minutes ,drain on kitchen paper and keep warm while u cook the rest. Slice in half and serve
