  • 12 large manicotti shells
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp dried basil (6 tbsp chopped, fresh)
  • 26 oz spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan

How to Make Manicotti

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Manicotti in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 13x9 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
  • Cook pasta according to pkg directions. Drain. Rinse with cool water. Let pasta dry on paper towels.
  • Step 3
  • For filling, in large bowl, stir together 3 cups mozzarella with ricotta & basil. Using a teaspoon, carefully stuff pasta shells with prepared cheese mixture.
  • Step 4
  • Spoon 2 cups of spaghetti sauce into prepared baking dish. Arrange stuffed pasta over sauce. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over top of pasta. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  • Step 5
  • Bake manicotti for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan. Bake for 10 minutes longer. Serve immediately.
