  • 1 net weight 300 grams Potatoes
  • 80 grams Cake flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 grams Butter
  • 50 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 Powdered sugar (if you like)

How to Make Maple Cake with Potato

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Maple Cake with Potato in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Peel the potatoes, and microwave for about 6 minutes at 500-600 W, then mash them well. Preheat the oven for 170°C.
  • Step 2
  • While Step 1 is warm, add the butter and granulated sugar in that order. Melt and mix them well each time.
  • Step 3
  • Add the beaten egg, maple syrup, and milk, and mix well.
  • Step 4
  • Combine the cake flour and baking powder, and sift them into the bowl. Mix with a spatula.
  • Step 5
  • Pour the batter into the cake pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven preheated to 170°C for about 40 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • When baked, let it cool, then remove from the pan.
  • Step 7
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like. Cut into pieces, and serve on a plate.
