  • 1 egg
  • 150 ml to 180 ml soy milk
  • 50 ml maple syrup
  • 100 g flour
  • 100 g okara (soy pulp)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch olive oil

How to Make Maple Syrup and Okara Pancake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Maple Syrup and Okara Pancake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Beat the egg in a bowl, add the soy milk and maple syrup. Mix well.
  • Step 2
  • Then add all the other ingredients except for olive oil, mix well until the texture is no longer powdery.
  • Step 3
  • Heat a frying pan (I used a pancake pan instead) on low heat. Once hot, cool it down a bit by pushing the pan onto a wet towel for 3 seconds and then return it to heat. Pour in the batter until it is about 8cm in diameter.
  • Step 4
  • When you can see many bubbly spots on the surface of the pancake, it is time to flip it around. Cook the other side for a few minutes on low heat and they're done!
