  • 1 bag Chikuwa
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 40 grams Carrot
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ●Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ●Vinegar
  • 2 pinch ●Salt
  • 2 tbsp ●Olive oil
  • 1 dash ●Black pepper

How to Make Marinated Chikuwa

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Marinated Chikuwa in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the onion into thin slices, and soak in water. Cut the cucumber and carrot into thin strips, and sprinkle with a small amount of salt (not listed).
  • Step 2
  • Cut the chikuwa diagonally.
  • Step 3
  • Mix ● ingredients in a bowl to make marinade. Mix the sugar, salt, and vinegar first, and when dissolved, mix with the olive oil.
  • Step 4
  • Squeeze the excess water out from the onion, cucumber, and the carrot. Add to Step 3 bowl with the chikuwa, toss together, then it's done.
  • Step 5
  • Letting it sit for a little allows the flavor to absorb and makes it more delicious.
